AUDIO: Wahu – This Love Mp3 Download
“This Love” by Kenyan singer-songwriter Wahu (Wahu Kagwi) is one of the most iconic R&B/Afro-pop tracks to emerge from East Africa in the late 2000s. Released in 2007 under Ogopa Deejays, the song served as a major career milestone, cementing Wahu’s status as a powerhouse in the African music industry.
Written by Wahu during a time when her relationship with her now-husband, Kenyan musician Nameless (David Mathenge), was under intense public scrutiny, the track addresses the quiet strength required to maintain love despite external judgment and gossip. It blends contemporary R&B melodies with distinct Ogopa Deejays-style urban beat production.
